Every plant starts as sand and soda ash. What happens next is the part we build.

From sand to silicate, in one line.

Raw batch goes in at one end. Sodium silicate leaves the other. This is the line we design, build and commission.

Batch

Storage silos and a mixing blender prepare the charge of silica sand and soda ash.

Melt

A pusher machine (pavdi) feeds the furnace, fired by oil burners or a gasifier, with a recuperator on the flue.

Tap

Molten silicate glass runs onto a chain conveyor built for 1500 °C, and cools as it climbs.

Dissolve

The cooled glass is dissolved into liquid silicate, ready to store and dispatch.
